Our purpose at calcpa
To discuss and examine issues in the profession in a way that allows the diverse membership an opportunity to examine different sides of an issue and to present a consensus of positions and recommendations of possible solutions to that CalCPA and the profession will be enhanced.
Our objectives at Calcpa
To provide forums that represents the diverse expertise of the membership with the purpose of discussing and addressing specific professional issues.
To study and recommend to CalCPA Council: positions, policies and programs that are related to each committee's focus.
To liaison with agencies and organizations whose work impacts CalCPA membership within each committee's realm of responsibility.
To communicate findings and pertinent issues to the membership through chapter representatives and through use of CalCPA publications.
To promote awareness and understanding of the varied services offered by Certified Public Accountants.
